Drive Registration with #BetterTogether Boxes
The Three Challenges of Virtual Meetings
The National Center for Employee Ownership’s annual conference is the organization’s most important event of the year. As NCEO prepared for its event they were looking for a solution to address three limitations of virtual events: building a sense of community, driving registration and inspiring celebration. Crêpes à Latte went above and beyond to help NCEO tackle and successfully overcome all three challenges with #BetterTogether Boxes.
Strengthening a Community While Driving Registration
First, we helped build a sense of community among NCEO's virtual attendees by creating a shared experience among everyone who received a #BetterTogether Box or Snack Pack. By sourcing many of the box contents from NCEO’s employee-owned member companies, we also created a compelling community story.
For their second challenge, NCEO needed a way to increase attendance and encourage early registration. By announcing limited availability of the boxes on their site, #BetterTogether Boxes proved to be an effective draw as a rush of RSVP's were received well in advance of the early bird deadline. As a result, NCEO surpassed their attendance goal by 25%. This increase also meant increased exposure for all the sponsors who contributed their products to the contents or were included in the sponsor brochure insert.
A Memorable Experience
from Start to Finish
Finally, as we began to see the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel, NCEO wanted their conference to feel like an emergence from crisis, a celebration of positivity. Throughout the collaboration process, we listened to our client’s needs and concerns and provided insights to create the best experience for every person who received a #BetterTogether Box or Snack Pack. By making the process enjoyable for our client, we put everyone in a celebratory mood weeks before the event even started.
